Lethality prevention

The Mayor's Office of Domestic and Community Violence Prevention will create a Lethality Prevention Division to align the office's programs and initiatives around preventing domestic violence and intimate partner homicides.

The office also will hire a high lethality project coordinator to be responsible for high lethality teams including the strangulation response team, domestic violence fatality review team and domestic violence enhanced response team.

The office also will hire a case manager to help support services and navigation for survivors who are identified as having high lethality.
