Rockford Region Restaurant Week is almost here. Here's how to vote for your favorites

It's almost time for your voice to be heard when it comes to which restaurant in the Rockford area is the best or serves the best cocktail.

The Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau's annual Rockford Region Restaurant Week begins Tuesday and runs through Feb. 6.

During the week, local restaurants, bars, bakeries, coffee shops and more will offer their best entrees, cocktails, carryout and to-go packages for customers.

These specials will include various exclusive menu items, themed take-out options, limited-time promotions, and more.

Customers can vote for their favorite restaurants for the following categories:

  • Best Bite: The meal with the most flavorful bite.

  • Best Atmosphere and Vibes: A food establishment that showcases the best vibes through lighting, service, and overall experience.

  • Best Restaurant Week Package: The most creative deal, experience, or package.

  • Best Cocktail or Brew: The most creative and tasty beverage. This category includes coffee, cocktails, smoothies, beer, and other freshly served beverages.

  • Best for All: Your favorite food establishment that showcases a welcoming environment for all, defined as a venue that welcomes residents and visitors by creating a sense of belonging.

Customers can vote on gorockford.com. Winning restaurants will be recognized on a billboard in Rockford and through social media.

Residents can also take part in restaurant week through social media to have a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Take a photo during restaurant week at your favorite food establishment or with your to-go order. Create a special message in support of buying local at the establishment and hashtag #GoRockford #RockfordRegionRestaurantWeek. Multiple entries are allowed, but only one entry will be allowed per restaurant purchase and post.

Winners of a $100 gift card will be randomly selected the week following restaurant week.
