ROCKVILLE, MD — Many Rockville businesses have adjusted their hours and offers in response to the ban on dine-in service at all Maryland restaurants and bars to stem the spread of the new coronavirus.

To help local businesses, Montgomery County has loosened liquor license restrictions to allow businesses to sell booze with takeout and delivery orders. Officials have also put up "No Parking" signs outside a number of neighborhood restaurants to make curbside pickup easier for residents and delivery drivers.

More than 100 restaurants offering curbside pickup, carryout, and delivery are open in the Rockville area. The Rockville Chamber of Commerce and Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) has compiled a list of restaurants that remain open during the coronavirus pandemic.

"It's important that we all patronize our local businesses to the extent we can during this time," Cindy Stewart, CEO of REDI, said.
