Myles is a graduate of Rocky Mountain High School and the daughter of Colorado State University's former women's volleyball coach, Tom Hilbert. She committed to Western Colorado University in 2018 with plans to play volleyball and join its track and field team.

Myles provided the perspective of a student athlete on "The College Tour," detailing her time on Western Colorado University's track and field team. Western Colorado University's episode of the show was filmed at the university last fall, according to the school. At the time, Myles was a senior business administration major.
