Sir Rod Stewart has reportedly agreed a plea deal over an alleged altercation at a hotel in Florida.
The Maggie May singer, 76, and his son Sean, 40, had been charged with simple battery over an alleged incident involving a security guard on New Year’s Eve 2019.
The pair had both pleaded not guilty to assaulting Jesse Dixon at a luxury hotel in Palm Beach, Florida.

There was a hearing in the case this week and a new pre-trial hearing date was set for March 26.
But according to the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the case is about to be wrapped up.
The publication reported that lawyers have announced they will not be heading to trial. The matter is expected to be formally closed at the hearing in March.
The terms of the deal were not released.
Security guard Dixon had alleged that Sir Rod and Sean assaulted him at the Breakers Palm Beach Hotel.
He claimed that they were part of a group who argued with him about not being allowed into a private party in a particular area of the hotel.
When they were asked to leave, they apparently “began to get loud and cause a scene”.
The guard claimed that Sean pushed him and that Sir Rod punched him in the ribs.
The singer has been married to Penny Lancaster since 2007.
