Book clubs

Teen Book Club – 4 p.m. Monday. Rodman Public Library invites teens who love to read to join the Teen Book Club. Led by reference librarian Jaime Gross, the group meets on the third Monday of each month at the Main Library. The selected title for April is “The Language of Ghosts,” by Heather Fawcett. True Crime Junkies – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Book discussion group led by reference librarian Ashley Mock meets every third Tuesday of the month at the Main Library. The selection for April is “American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century,” by Maureen Callahan. Registration is required at rodmanlibrary.evanced.info/signup. Kids Book Club – 4:15 p.m. Wednesday. Children ages 8-12 are invited to attend on the third Wednesday of each month. “The Wild Robot,” by Peter Brown is the selected title for April. Led by Stacy Digianantonio, Kids Book Club meetings include a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack. Books are available for extended checkout. Ongoing programming

“Fashion of History” – Exhibit will be in place at the Rodman Gallery through April 30. Sponsored by the Alliance Area Preservation Society, the exhibit matches styles from the 1800s through the 1970s with sites from around Alliance where they would have been worn.

Teen Anime Club – 3 p.m. Tuesday. Those ages 12 to 18 are invited to RPL on a select Tuesday each month to watch their favorite anime episodes on a big screen. For more information, call the Reference Department at 330-821-2665, ext. 217. No registration required.

Tech Time Thursday – 11 a.m. Thursdays. A librarian will be on hand for an hour every Thursday at the Main Library to answer basic questions about your computer or electronic devices, such as cellphones, laptops and tablets.
