Fogle Author Series Presents Robin Yocum – Wednesday. Robin Yocum, a former journalist known for his fiction set in the Ohio River Valley, will conduct a writing workshop at 3:30 p.m. and will give remarks at 6 p.m. Separate registration is required for each program at rodmanlibrary.evanced.info/signup. Some of Yocum’s books will be available for purchase on the day of his visit, and the author will sign books following his remarks. For more information, call 330-821-2665.

Teen Advisory – 4 p.m. Tuesday. Those ages 12-18 who want to help shape services and programs at Rodman Public Library are encouraged to join the Teen Advisory Board. The group will meet the second Tuesday of each month in the conference room at the Main Library to discuss ideas for programming and the library’s collection for teens. Kids Crafting – 4 p.m. Thursday. Ages 5-12 are invited to Rodman Public Library between 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. for a drop-in make-and-take kids crafting program to create a fall critter magnet. Ongoing programs

Wee Read –6:30 p.m. Monday; and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. This is the last week of Wee Read until January. Children ages birth through age 2 and their parents or caregivers are invited. Family Fun Night – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. This is the last week of Family Fun Night until January. Parents or caregivers and children ages 3 to 12 are invited to participate in an entertaining and educational evening in Rodman Main Children’s Department. There will be stories before participants break into small groups to visit various stations where they will play games, complete challenges and create crafts that will provide fun for all ages. Storytime – 10:30 a.m. Thursday. This is the last week for Storytime at the Main Library until January. Children ages 3-5 and their parents or caregivers are invited to Storytime, which is intended to encourage lifelong readers through stories, music, movement and activities. Book clubs

Books and Coffee – 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at The Branch. The Books and Coffee Book Club meets the second Monday of the month at the Rodman Branch Library. Led by Charlene Duro, the selected title for November will be “Going There,” by Katie Couric. For more information, call 330-821-1313.

True Crime Junkies – 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15. Book discussion group led by reference librarian Ashley Mock meets the third Tuesday of the month at the Main Library. The November selection is “Hell’s Half-Acre: The Untold Story of The Benders, A Serial Killer Family on the American Frontier,” by Susan Jonusas. Kids Book Club – 4:15 p.m. Nov. 16. RPL invites those ages 8 to 12 to join the club that meets the third Wednesday of each month. “The Fourteenth Goldfish,” by Jennifer L. Holm is the selected title for November. Led by Stacy Digianantonio, Kids Book Club meetings include a brief discussion of the book, a fun activity and a snack.
