Rogue One To Include Cult Character?

There are potential SPOILERS ahead for ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ so don’t read ahead if you don’t want the blockbuster to possibly be ruined for you.

Since ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ is set in between the antics of ‘Revenge Of The Sith’ and ‘A New Hope’ it’s believed that a hoard of popular characters from the latter will at least cameo.

So far there has already been speculation that Darth Vader and Han Solo will be included, while a new Lego set has sparked rumours that the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett will also appear.

This all began after StudShooter! (via Empire) posted new images of Lego figures from Rogue 1 Oktober – a toy fair in Nuremberg, which seemed to include a picture of Slave 1, the ship that belonged to Boba Fett.

This immediately led ‘Star Wars’ fans to assume that Lego had inadvertently revealed that the cult character from the original trilogy would indeed pop up in ‘Rogue One’.

There have been a variety of rumors regarding Boba Fett’s place in the expansion of the ‘Star Wars’ universe. It had previously been teased that one of the future anthology films would revolve around Boba, however that’s still yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, there’s also been rumors that Felicity Jones’ character in ‘Rogue One’ is actually Fett’s daughter. Obviously that’s still speculation at this point too, what with the fact that director Gareth Edwards only finished shooting ‘Rogue One’ at the end of last year.

We have quite a while to wait and see if Boba Fett is actually in ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ as it’s only going to be released in the UK on December 16.
