R-r-r-r-r-oll up the rim to win… a baby!

We all know Canadians have a love/hate relationship with Tim Hortons’ annual Roll Up The Rim contest. But recently, a Mississauga, Ont. couple got much more than a free doughnut.

Over the weekend, Tim Hortons shared this photo on their Facebook page:

“This year’s biggest ‪#‎RollUpTheRim‬ winners,” reads the photo’s caption. “Congrats Colin and Michelle and thank you for the photo!”

To add to the cuteness, the fine print reads: “WINNER. 1 BABY – Redeem by October 2015.”

So far, the post has seen more than 10,000 likes and 800 shares, and the comments have, for the most part, been positive.

“Congrats to the parents to be! You definitely are grand prize winners with this little blessing on the way! Enjoy every moment!” wrote one commenter.

“That is just too sweet. Congratulations Colin and Michelle and thank you for the smile,” added another.

“Congrats! I think these pictures show who the big winners are! So happy for you! You’ve won the ‘grand prize!’“

But some Canadians couldn’t resist adding their own jabs to the contest, either.

“Congratulations to this couple! So far this year I’m ONE for 32!!!”

Forget shovelling snow and dealing with -20 C temperatures. Conquering Roll Up The Rim will always be the truest Canadian struggle.
