Rolling Hills Zoo hosting job and volunteer fair Saturday

SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina is hosting a job and volunteer fair on Saturday.

The zoo says they will be taking applications and conducting on-site interviews on the same day. They encourage jobseekers to fill out an application in advance and to bring their résumé to make the process smoother but say it is not a requirement.

The zoo is looking for seasonal staff for the following positions:

  • Admissions

  • Gift Shop

  • Trams

  • Feed Station

  • Restaurant

  • Landscape

  • Lead Educators

The zoo is also looking for volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are available for a variety of areas at the zoo.

Applicants for employment must be at least 16 years old and available to work weekends & holidays. Volunteer applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

The job and volunteer fair will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the conference center inside the Wildlife Museum. For more about Rolling Hills Zoo, click here.
