OLIVE TOWNSHIP — A 21-year-old woman from Rolling Prairie is dead following a rollover crash on the western edge of St. Joseph County over the weekend.

St. Joseph County police found Alexis Piotrowicz lying near the intersection of Strawberry and Hurd roads in Olive Township around 5:40 a.m. on Saturday.

Piotrowicz was unresponsive and officers soon found a car lying partially submerged in water upside down in a ditch about 100 yards away from her, according to police. First responders found her phone and purse underwater in the vehicle.
