Rollover crash claims life of North Texas man

A Graham man recently died in a rollover crash in Palo Pinto County, according to a media release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Jose Misael Rodriguez Vega, 52, was killed Friday in a one-vehicle wreck at 7:58 p.m. on State Highway 337 three miles northwest of Graford, according to the DPS release. Vega was not wearing a seatbelt.

A trooper's preliminary investigation indicates Vega was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on SH 337 when it drove off the west side of the road. He lost control of the SUV, and it rolled several times. He was ejected from the vehicle.

Vega was pronounced dead on the scene by Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Shawn Humphries. The crash investigation is ongoing.
