'Give Roman justice': Neighbors relieved after father, stepmom arrested in Placerville boy's death

It was a case that shocked the city of Placerville. Roman Lopez, 11, was reported missing Jan. 11, 2020. His was body found later that day. At the time, investigators released few details on the case, only saying the child’s death was suspicious. On Thursday, more than a year later, the Placerville police department announced the arrests of Lopez’s father, Jordan Piper, and stepmother, Lindsey Piper. The couple is facing child abuse, poisoning and torture charges. See more in the video above.
