Roman Penn scores career-high 32 points in Drake men's basketball's loss to Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Roman Penn had 32 points, four assists and three steals in Drake's 75-73 men's basketball loss at Indiana State on Wednesday. Penn's 32 points were a career-high.

Robbie Avila scored 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Indiana State (7-1). Cameron Henry scored 14 points while shooting 2 of 6 from the field and 10 for 12 from the line. Courvoisier McCauley recorded 12 points and was 5 of 11 shooting (2 for 6 from distance).

Drake (6-1) also got 15 points, six rebounds and two steals from Tucker DeVries. Darnell Brodie also had 10 points in the Missouri Valley Conference contest.

Bradley defeats Northern Iowa: Duke Deen had 18 points in Bradley’s 68-53 win against Northern Iowa on Wednesday night in Peoria, Ill.

Deen shot 7 for 14, including 4 for 9 from beyond the arc for the Braves (5-3). Rienk Mast scored 13 points while going 6 of 8 from the field, and added 11 rebounds. Connor Hickman was 4 of 10 shooting, including 3 for 6 from distance, and went 2 for 5 from the line to finish with 13 points, while adding six rebounds.

Bowen Born led the Panthers (2-4) in scoring, finishing with 22 points in the Missouri Valley Conference game. Tytan Anderson added eight points, eight rebounds and three steals for Northern Iowa. In addition, Trey Campbell had eight points and two steals.
