Wisconsin’s number one political antagonist, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, is at it again (“Johnson calls for no charges in scheme,” Aug. 28).

Apparently, his definition of “political activity” has no bounds. Referring to the 10 Republicans who signed documents claiming to be electors for former President Donald Trump in 2020, Johnson wants these fake electors to face no criminal charges. Johnson claims they were only doing “political activity.”

In Johnson’s mindset, political activity involves anything related to politics whether it be false or true. Has our political system stooped this low?
