Roof Blows Off Chicago Building in Powerful Wind Storm

A powerful derecho storm brought winds of up to 80 mph to Chicago and surrounding areas on August 10, according to local media reports. The storm damaged buildings and downed power lines, leaving hundreds of thousands without power.

The National Weather Service urged residents to take cover.
