Ropes and motorbikes used to escape Hong Kong Polytechnic University campus siege

In the early hours of Tuesday, November 19, 2019, dozens of people escaped from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University campus which had been under police siege trapping students, protesters and radicals. Fearing arrest, some of them abseiled down ropes and fire hoses from a campus footbridge and onto a highway where drivers were waiting to take them away on motorbikes.
