GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Mesa County Library Central Campus will be hosting a Rosa Parks Chautauqua in honor of Black History Month.

Parks will be played by Becky Stone.

This living history portrayal gives insight into the life of Parks, what inspired her and how she became the mother of the civil rights movement.

The Chautauqua will be taking place Saturday, Feb. 3 from 1-2 p.m. at Mesa County Central Library’s Community Room at 433 North 6th Street. Click here to register for the event.
