Former Charmed stars Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano trended on Twitter this weekend, as disagreements over American politics led to the former accusing the latter of making the set of the supernatural drama "toxic AF".

Milano is a big supporter of the Democrats, so when McGowan accused the party of having "achieved nothing", Milano responded with a long list of things the Democrats have done, which she ended by addressing her former co-star.

"Rose and anyone bleating the same 'dEmOcRaTs DoNt HeLp PeOpLe' nonsense, your lies are going to hurt people less privileged than you," she wrote. "It's the kind of thing an ACTUAL fraud would do. Thousands of people are dying a day but you go on with your hyperbolic attention seeking tweets."

In response, McGowan tweeted: "1) You stole #metoo (a brilliant communication tool, not a movement) from Tarana. You co-opted my movement, the Cultural Reset, for fame, jealous of me for outing my rapist. You made 250k per week on Charmed.

"2) You threw a fit in front of the crew, yelling, 'They don’t pay me enough to do this shit!' Appalling behavior on the daily. I cried every time we got renewed because you made that set toxic AF. Now, get off my coattails you f**king fraud."

McGowan also re-shared an interview she did a few years back, in which she claimed Milano was "a lie", and quote-tweeted a fan who stated that they had been blocked by Milano, adding that the same thing happened to her.

In response, Milano tweeted: "Commenting further doesn’t align with my wellness plan."

She went on to say: "Do you think we can get #AlyssaMilanoIsALie to trend number 1 before I fall asleep?

"Everyone saying sweet things—I see you. Thank you. Everyone saying horrible things—I see you. F**k off.

"Hurt people hurt people. Empowered people empower people. Loved people love people."

We wouldn't expect a reunion any time soon.
