Roseville July 4 Fireworks Canceled 2020: See Nearby Events

Nick Garber

ROSEVILLE, CA — Fourth of July events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus.

Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Roseville, whose annual festivities were canceled.

Instead, though, Roseville is hosting a virtual 4th of July parade starting at 9 a.m. on the Roseville Parks, Recreation, & Events Facebook page.

And throughout the Sacramento area and Northern California, several communities are still holding fireworks shows or hosting fun activities to do from home.

Most notably, Elk Grove will still host a July 4 fireworks show, billed as a "sky concert," despite canceling the city's annual parade. People in the Sacramento area can watch the show on ABC10 at 9:30 p.m. on July 4, and listen to a musical soundtrack on 93.7 The River.

Peruse the list to see what else is on tap in Northern California. Stay safe, and have a Happy Fourth of July, from Patch!
