Oct. 13—Roseville singer Libianca Fonji — who uses her first name only as a stage name — has won her face-off and will continue to compete on NBC's "The Voice."

Libianca made her first appearance on the competitive reality show on Oct. 4 when her rendition of SZA's "Good Days" prompted coach Blake Shelton to add the 20-year-old to his team.

On Tuesday night's episode, she faced off against teammate Tommy Edwards in a duet of "Save Your Tears (Remix)," a song by the Weeknd and Ariana Grande. Shelton chose Libianca to continue competing and said she "just has such a unique voice and her tone is so different." Coaches Kelly Clarkson and John Legend also chimed in with their approval.

Oddly enough, producers chose to air just 15 seconds of the performance, which led to some blowback from fans on social media.

Libianca now advances to the next stage of "The Voice," the Knockouts, which begin Oct. 25. "The Voice" airs Monday and Tuesday nights on KARE 11.
