(WJHL) – With just one week remaining in the high school basketball regular season, a handful of teams cemented places at the top of their respective conferences.

In Johnson City, Daniel Boone overcame a halftime deficit for just a second win at Science Hill in the last 26 tries, 54-46. The victory also snapped the Hilltoppers’ eleven-game winning streak.

Dobyns-Bennett opened its matchup with West Ridge on an 11-4 run and never looked back, defeating the Wolves, 74-59.

On the night Greeneville head coach Brad Woolsey was honored for his 300th career victory, the Greene Devils win again – this time over Morristown East – 63-59.

Sullivan East pulls off the upset over country rival, Tennessee High, 69-64.

In Virginia, Gate City gets back in the win column against Abingdon, 69-59.

In the ladies game, Dobyns-Bennett pulls away in the second half against West Ridge to claim the Big 4 regular season crown, 51-37.

The Tennessee High Lady Vikings blew past Sullivan East in Bluff City, 81-57.

On senior night, Science Hill scored the most points it had all season in an upset over the Lady Blazers, 68-60.
