Roundup: Harrison track earns three podiums, Lafayette Jeff unified track state runner-up

Connor Czajkwoski didn't get a chance to defend his state championship in the 200 meters, withdrawing from the finals in the event at last week's regional meet.

The Harrison senior, did however, return to the podium at Saturday's Indiana High School Athletic Association state finals.

Czajkowski anchored the Raiders' 400 relay team that placed fourth.

Gunnar Bundy, Finlay Huber, Hunter Newman and Czajkowski completed a lap around Indiana University's Haugh Complex track in 41.97 seconds, just a shade behind state champion Brownsburg's 41.60.

It was one of three podium finishes for Harrison's track and field program over the weekend.
