Volleyball

Lakeland 3, Bartow 0

Highlights: Erin Miller and Carissa Michel each had 13 kills to lead the Drednaughts. Katie McLaughlin added 13. Carly Northrup and Caroline Mank had three aces each, and Michel and Lindsey added two. Skye Gallichan had 15 its, Michel had 12, and Mank had 11. Mank and Kirra Lindsey had 14 and 12 assists respectively.

Records: Lakeland 12-4, Bartow 3-5.

Winter Haven 3, Auburndale 0

Highlights: Rylee Tanner had 16 kills, Emily Drier had 12 kills, and Ellie Floyd added nine kills to lead the Blue Devils. Arianna Santos led with 16 digs, and Tanner added 10 digs. Tori Martin finished with 38 assists and six digs.

Winter Haven finishes 3-3 week

Highlights: Winter Haven defeated Ridge in four sets then went 2-3 at the Berkeley Prep Premiere Tournament. The Blue Devils defeated Steinbrenner and Strawberry Crest then lost to Calvary Christian, Berkeley Prep and Gainesville. Stats from the Ridge win and the tournament not available.

Records: Winter Haven 10-8.

Keswick Christian 3, Lakeland Christian 0

Highlights: For LCS, Emerson Valenti finished with seven kills, three aces and 11 digs, and Mac Ash had four kills, eight aces and 10 digs. Lillian Jacobs had 18 digs.

McKeel 3, Lakeland Christian 0

Highlights: Mallory Swartz had seven kills and Mariana Kleinhenz had five kills each to lead the Wildcats. Juleigh Urbina had 16 assists and six digs. Kendal Orme had eight digs. For LCS, Olivia Elliott had with three kills.

McKeel 3, Bartow 0

Highlights: Mariana Kleinhenz led McKeel with nine kills, and Hope Kimsey and Mallory Swartz had seven kills each. Emory Hubbard had six kills and 12 digs. Juleigh Urbina led with 14 digs and 27 assists, and Swartz and Kendall Orme had 10 digs each. For Bartow, Ellison Saunders and Toniah Patterson had five kills each, and Carly Fredericks had eight digs.

McKeel 3, Santa Fe Catholic 0

Highlights: Hope Kimsey had six kills, and Malorie Swartz had five kills for McKeel. Swartz and Juleigh Urbina each had five digs, and Urbina had 15 assists.

Records: McKeel 7-1.

Davenport 3, Lake Gibson 1

Highlights: Amanda Monge led Davenport with 17 kills and 11 digs, and Janelys Perez had 14 kills and eight digs. Autumn Moore finished with 17 digs and 37 assists, and Sarah Hernandez had 11 digs. For Lake Gibson, Bailee Nelson had 11 kills eight digs, and Ryla Bryant had 10 kills and 20 digs. Ava Wilke had 14 digs and 24 assists.

Records: Davenport 5-5.

Lake Gibson 3, George Jenkins 1

Highlights: Ryla Bryant led Lake Gibson with 22 kills and 17 assists, and Dakota Saunders had seven kills. Haley Dionne had 13 digs. Ava Wilke had 35 assists.

Records: Lake Gibson 3-6, George Jenkins 7-5.

Lake Wales 3, Lake Region 1

Highlights: Sydnie Whitaker led Lake Wales with 13 kills and eight digs, and Lily Weaver added 11 kills and 14 digs. Lilah Denton had 13 digs, and Kyndall Goff had 23 assists.

Records: Lake Wales 5-2.

Victory Christian 3, Geneva Classical 1

Highlights: Kaylee Whittenton led the Storm with seven kills, and Dublin Fitzgerald and Alaina Fountain added six kills each. Fitzgerald also had seven aces, and Ava Estamponi had six aces. Fountain led with 12 digs. Amaya Dobie had 17 assists, and Whittenton had 11 assists. For Geneva, Sarah Beth Miller had eight kills, and Natalie McMicken had nine assists.

Seffner Christian 3, Victory Christian 0

Highlights: Alaina Fountain led the Storm with four kills and 12 digs, and Amaya Dobie had 10 digs.

Records: Victory Christian 3-6.

All Saints 3, Fort Meade 0

Highlights: All Saints won, 25-14, 25-15, 25-15. All Saints' top players: Addison Lenderman 1 ace, 5 kills and 9 digs, Amelia Johnson 4 aces, 5 kills, 1 block, and 4 digs, Hannah Kazmier 3 aces, 1 kill, 21 assist, and 7 digs, Aubree Hummel 19 receptions, 34 digs and only 5 errors, Alainah Alford 2 aces, 1 kill and 9 digs, Piper Fennessy 1 ace, 11 kills, 2 blocks.

Highlights: Bartow won, 20-25, 25-19, 25-18, 19-25, 15-8. Highlights: Ridgeview won, 25-16, 22-25, 25-8, 25-12. Ridgeview was led by Olivia Delgado with eight aces, Kamila Gonzalez with 7 aces, Arianna Lesch with 9 kills and Amani Hill with 6 kills.

Ridgeview Global Studies 3, Kathleen 0

Highlights: Ridgeview won, 25-10, 25-2, 25-11. Arianna Lesch led with 14 kills, and Kamila Gonzaled added 15 aces.

Cross Country

George Jenkins girls 13th at North Port

George Jenkins finished 13th out of 25 teams in the girls Elite Division of the North Port Invitational on Saturday.

Jaade McBride ran 19:54.88 and finished 27th as the top Jenkins runner. Payton Rusk ran 20:14.87 and was 35th.

McBridge became the first Polk runner to break under 20 minutes for the girls this season and is now ranked No. 1 in the county. Rusk's time is ranked No. 2.

In the boys Elite Division, George Jenkins sophomore ran 16:54.21 to finish 35. His time is the best time in Polk County for the boys this season. Jenkins finished 20th.

Lake Wales' Cameron Gonzalez finished 13th in the Large School Boys Division. He ran 17:37.13. Lake Wales finished 14th out of 22 schools.

Ridge's Schembri finishes 4th

Ridge Community sophomore Kruz Schembri finished fourth in 16:44.6 at the East River Invitational.

Auburndale's Colin Fetter ran 18:00.20 to finish 19th as the  Bloodhounds finished seventh in the boys team competition.

In the girls competition, Emaleigh Daughtry finished 29th in 23:30.9 as the top Polk finisher. Auburndale finished ninth out of 14 teams.
