Landon Montgomery recorded a hat trick Tuesday, sparking the Heath boys soccer team in a 4-2 victory at Bishop Ready.
Spencer Boyette also scored for the Bulldogs (2-2), who received 19 saves from Kam Holmberg.

Landen Pound's second-half goal gave Granville Christian a 1-0 victory at Harvest Prep.
Jayden Leija made two saves for the Lions (3-1-1).
Liberty blanks Irish
Ethan Gohn saved a penalty kick, one of his eight saves, to preserve a 3-0 shutout for Liberty Christian at Fisher Catholic.
Landon Snyder and Shelby Carr each scored and Brennan Fox and Josh Michel each had an assist for the Eagles (1-1-1), who also received an own goal from the Irish.
Watkins nipped late
Two second-half goals for Bishop Hartley sent Watkins Memorial to a 2-1 defeat.
Jonny Murphy made eight saves for the Warriors (0-2-1). Chase Massie scored off a Parker Miconi assist.

Conaway fuels Lakewood
Ellie Conaway's two first-half goal ignited Lakewood in a 3-2 victory at West Muskingum.
Jaylie Maas also scored for the Lancers (3-0-1). McKenna Clem made 19 saves to secure the win.
Newark ties Davidson
Mayci Sayre recorded a goal and an assist for Newark in a 2-2 tie against visiting Hilliard Davidson.
Zoey Milton also scored, and Ali Farnsworth recorded an assist for the Wildcats (1-1-1). Maris Knowlton made four saves.
Watkins falls on road
Jaylyn Thornton scored off a Danielle Backus assist for Watkins Memorial in a 6-1 loss at Bishop Watterson.
Madison Skeese made five saves and Rilyn Warner two for the Warriors (2-2).

Heath beats Northridge
Taliyah Holmes distributed 28 assists to Heath's balanced attack in a victory against visiting Northridge, 25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16, in Licking County League-Cardinal Division play.
Sydney Chapman totaled 13 kills and four aces and Kyndall Spicer 12 kills for the Bulldogs (3-2, 2-0). Renae Cunningham and Hanna Clark added nine kills apiece and Caroline Robertson 29 digs.
Darla Dorman totaled 10 kills for the Vikings (2-5, 0-3). Laney Higgins added 20 assists and Mia Bartlett 20 digs.
NC sweeps Lakewood
Jillian Given distributed 18 assists and served five aces for Newark Catholic in a victory against visiting Lakewood (2-5, 0-3), 25-10, 25-13, 25-11, in LCL-Cardinal play.
Ava Gummer added nine kills, Natalie Harrington seven kills, Kylie Gibson 11 assists and Erin Keck four aces for the Green Wave (3-0, 3-0).
Watkins beats Valley
Elise Adelman stuffed the stat sheet with seven kills, 24 assists, three aces and 14 digs for Watkins Memorial in a victory against visiting Licking Valley, 25-13, 25-14, 25-22, in LCL-Buckeye play.
Murphy Boyd added 10 kills and 15 digs, Jamisen Justice seven kills and three aces and Mya Jackson four aces and seven assists for the Warriors (5-2, 3-0).
Daizi Hardbarger and Cassie Orr had six kills apiece and Hardbarger and Rylee Sensabaugh 13 digs apiece for the Panthers (1-5, 0-3). Emily Bone added 14 assists.
Johnstown wins at Utica
Johnstown slowed a late Utica charge to earn a road victory, 25-18, 25-14, 20-25, 25-12, in LCL-Cardinal play.
Emily Yanczura distributed 27 assists for the Johnnies (6-1, 3-0). Kylie Sharp added 14 kills and three blocks, Dakota Staffan 13 kills and four aces and Kate Ruffle 18 digs.
Ellie Boggs and Abby Buchanan led Utica (2-5, 1-2) with six kills apiece. Emma Kimpel added five kills and 15 digs and Emilee Ellis three aces and 14 assists.
Heights wins at Granville
Licking Heights (5-2, 3-0) earned a victory at Granville (0-5, 0-2), 25-22, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21, in LCL-Buckeye play.
Newark falls at home
Unique Miller made 14 digs and served two aces for Newark in a loss to visiting Olentangy Berlin, 25-18, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16.
Ruth Anderson and Avery Reagan totaled seven kills apiece and Carlee Thompson 14 assists for the Wildcats (3-3).

Newark sweeps
Newark did not lose a set in a 5-0 victory against visiting Groveport in Ohio Capital Conference-Buckeye Division play.
Natalee Breckenridge, 6-1, 6-0, Addi Taylert, 6-2, 6-0, and Vanessa Bennett, 6-0, 6-0, won singles matches for the Wildcats (5-5, 2-2). Andy Hupp and Becca Helber, 6-3, 6-3, and Dia Bailey and Lacey Lane, 6-0, 6-0, won doubles matches.
Watkins edges Hartley
Claudia Schaar won a tiebreaker 10-8 at No. 3 singles to give Watkins Memorial a 3-2 victory against visiting Bishop Hartley.
Terah Severance and Payton Zerkle, 6-4, 6-2, and Jenna Share and Bella Workman, 6-2, 6-2, won doubles matches for the Warriors (5-2).
Granville wins
Granville picked up a 4-1 victory against Zanesville.
Winning varsity matches were Sophia Tuma, Grace Emery, Abby Riley, Tessa Quijano, Emery Johnson and Ela Kendrick.

French leads Lakewood
Lexi French shot 39 for Lakewood at Harbor Hills in a victory against Sheridan, 174-198.
Avery Thompson followed with a 40, Savannah Zwayer 46 and Lauren Griffith and Abigail Colley 49 apiece.
CROSS COUNTRY
Utica boys, Northridge girls win The Hux
Utica's boys and Northridge's girls earned titles in Utica's The Hux Invitational at Camp Ohio.
Northridge's Braden Yutzy won the boys race in a time of 18:34.0, and he was followed by Utica's Stephen Epps (18:43.3). Licking Valley's Logan Debo took fifth (20:32.1), Utica's Jordan Taylor sixth (20:32.6) and Brayden Ricketts seventh (20:32.8), Northridge's Logan Knerr eighth (20:34.4) and Ben Hilton ninth (20:52.1) and Valley's Sam Busic 10th (20:56.3).
Licking Heights' Addison Caudill took runner-up in the girls race (22:54.6), trailing Tri-Valley's Taylor Crozier (22:30.3). Valley's Hannah Thompson took third (23:55.1), Northridge's Albree Ashbrook fourth (24:01.4), Utica's Camryn Baker seventh (25:11.4), Heights' Morgan Watkins eighth (25:37.6) and Northridge's Cheyann Severance ninth (25:52.6) and Dixie Ashbrook 10th (25:55.6).
