McCONNELSVILLE — Joe Mayle put another shooting display for Morgan on Saturday night, but this time it wasn't enough.

Mayle hit five 3-pointers and scored 19 points, including two in the fourth quarter, but the Andrew Airhart fired in eight in a game-high 26-point showing to lead Stewart Federal Hocking to a 76-73 nonleague win in double overtime.

Mayle, a guard, also had eight 3s in a win against Coshocton on Friday, coming just one shy of the school's single-game record held by Mason Edgell.

Airhart hit four 3s to account for all 12 of his points in the first half, then hit three in the fourth quarter to help knot the game at 62 after regulation play. It was also tied at 45 entering the fourth.

Morgan (3-3) trailed by two in overtime, but Mayle was fouled as time expired and sank both free throws to force another extra session. The Lancers got a trio of 3s in the two overtime periods, including two from Scotty Balch, to preserve the win.
