Disabled tractor-trailer on Route 1103 in Alleghany County cleared

UPDATE: 8:17 A.M. ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) –The disabled tractor-trailer on Route 1103 in Alleghany County has been removed, according to VDOT.

All lanes are now open.



ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation says drivers traveling on Route 1103 in Alleghany County can expect delays due to a disabled tractor-trailer.

The truck is disabled on Valley Ridge Road near Winterberry Avenue. Currently, all north and southbound lanes are closed.

Drivers traveling in this area are encouraged to find alternative routes.
