Route 21 Exit 6 in Belleville reopens during water main repairs
An exit ramp on Route 21 north in Belleville that closed Monday night for water man repairs has reopened after two days.
The Passaic Valley Water Commission, which initially estimated Exit 6 could be closed for up to a week, announced the ramp had reopened Wednesday afternoon.
"PVWC’s engineering team determined the ramp does not need to be closed at this stage of the repair process," the commission said in a release.
PVWC promised updates as they work with local authorities on permanent repairs.
