Route 247 reopens in Jessup, Olyphant after construction project

May 27—A section of state Route 247 / Moosic Lake Road that was closed because of a construction project is now open again, the state Department of Transportation said.

PennDOT closed the road from Valley View Drive in Jessup to Marshwood Road in Olyphant in April to accommodate the replacement of a 72-inch pipe.

The road reopened to traffic Wednesday, PennDOT said.
