Royals pitcher Zack Greinke’s young son has already got an impressive bat flip

Since pitcher Zack Greinke returned to the Royals prior to the 2022 season, there has been a familiar sight in the team clubhouse and on the Kauffman Stadium field before games.
It’s Greinke with his sons Bode and Griffin, who are often in Royals uniforms and playing ball with their dad or his teammates.
The boys made the weekend trip to Toronto and got to take some swings against their old man. Of course, it was soft toss from Greinke, but this was a sweet scene at the Rogers Center.

Greinke has nine home runs and a .225 average in his career as a batter in the majors, and he’s also flipped his bat.

The Royals lost their 100th game of the season on Sunday, and it would be cool if the team allowed Greinke to be the designated hitter at least once in the coming weeks (if Greinke wants to do it, that is).
He’s stuck at nine homers and nine stolen bases in his career and at one point said he wanted to be a 10-10 guy in his career.
