Royse City High School graduation set for May 31

May 28—Royse City High School will be celebrating its graduating class next week in Garland.

Bailey Windham is the Valedictorian and Connor Hall is the Salutatorian of this year's class.

Graduation exercises are scheduled at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at the Curtis Culwell Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Boulevard. The Curtis Culwell Center is located near the intersection of North Garland Avenue and the President George Bush Turnpike.

Parking for the ceremony is $10 each and must be pre-paid online. Tickets for the event will be scanned upon entry. VIP parking is $25.

The Curtis Culwell Center will also be the site of graduation ceremonies for Rockwall High School on Wednesday, June 1 as well as the Rockwall Heath High School on Thursday, June 2.

The facility, which belongs to Garland ISD, utilizes security metal detectors and wanders screening for prohibited items. Smoking is prohibited on the property, along with items including weapons of any kind, outside food and beverages, and wrapped gifts. Only clear bags are allowed inside the facility.

Visitors can purchase a DVD of the event and also order flowers for the graduates and "shout outs," which will appear on the video display during the ceremony.
