A rubber chicken for some extra wings? Popular Warner Robins spot to open second store
With a catchphrase of “our food is so good we couldn’t name it,” this popular chicken joint in Warner Robins is opening a second location with a funky rubber chicken promotion.
That’s right, No Name Chicken off Ga. 96 is trading extra wings for a rubber chicken from 4-10 p.m. every Monday until the new store opens at 2706 Watson Blvd, Suite I, in the former Hong Kong Express location.
The promotion features a rubber chicken sitting in a red chair all by itself at the new store.
“Our chicken is lonely. He’s hanging out at our new Watson location with no friends … Gift us a rubber chicken and receive a free 5 piece wing with (the purchase of) any combo,” the promotion reads.
What’s more, sign your rubber chicken and look for it at the new store when it opens, says Candice Miller of No Name Chicken.
“I like to have a good time,” Miller said. “The lonely chicken idea hit me while driving and I had to pull over and make a note so I wouldn’t forget.”
A new sauce
In addition to the promotion, No Name Chicken is adding a new jerk sauce to its homemade sauce options at the new location, Miller said.
“And it is so good,” she said.
The new restaurant, which is targeted to open in early to mid-July, is next to T-Mobile in the shopping strip that’s part of Warner Robins Place.
“We are super excited about this location,” said Miller, who expects the new restaurant will be just as successful as the first.
The first No Name Chicken within the Kroger shopping center off Ga. 96 has been open just under year, having opened in August of last year.
No Name Chicken is known for its crispy wings with homemade sauces, sliders with chicken tenderloins on a Hawaiian bun, also with sauce choices, and street fried rice. The same people behind the popular Fried Green Tomatoes restaurants in Middle Georgia are also behind No Name Chicken.
