RubberDucks rally in ninth, win in 10th over Patriots

Chris Roller smashed a triple to left field that scored Brayan Rocchio for the go-ahead run in an extra innings series-opening victory at Somerset on Tuesday night.
Victor Nova sent the game to extras with a clutch double to drive in Daniel Schneemann in the ninth inning and tie the score at 3-3.
Jerson Ramirez (3-1) earned the win after cruising through the final two innings, allowing just one hit and no walks. RubberDucks (30-22) pitchers sidestepped trouble all night after issuing nine walks and seven hits but left 10 runners stranded on base.
Ramirez combined with Brett Daniels and Robert Broom to toss 4⅓ innings of shutout relief, allowing just two hits.
