Senators 5, RubberDucks 2

After Ducks starter Tanner Bibee cruised through six scoreless innings, the Senators got to reliever Randy Labaut for five runs in the seventh inning, including a grand slam, to steal a win at Canal Park on Wednesday night.

Bibee dazzled in his start, allowing just two hits, no walks and striking out four. He held a perfect game through four innings before giving up a single in the fifth. When Labaut (1-1) came on in the seventh, he gave up all five runs on three hits and two walks without recording an out. Thomas Ponticelli finished off the final three innings of one-hit ball.

Offensively, the Ducks (48-42) could not deliver a timely hit, racking up seven hits and three walks but stranding eight base-runners. Chris Roller provided both runs on a line-drive double to left field in the fourth inning.
