Ruben Roman, Man Who Was With Adam Toledo When He Was Shot By Police, Released After Posting Bond For Felony Gun Charges

Ruben Roman, the man who was with 13-year-old Adam Toledo the night the boy was shot and killed by police and is accused of firing the shots that brought police to the scene in the first place, has posted bond and has been released from custody.

IRIKA SARGENT: New at 5:00, the man found with Adam Toledo when police shot the 13-year-old is now out of jail. This is video of Ruben Roman, who officers tackled in a Little Village alley right around the time they shot and killed Toledo. Roman bonded out of jail with money from a community group called the Chicago Bond Fund. He's facing gun charges.

The shooting of Toledo sparked strong feelings across the country. An officer chased him down an alley and ordered him to drop a gun. Toledo appeared to have complied less than a second before police shot him.
