- Defending champions Argentina, who downed Canada 20-6 last week, return home to host Uruguay at Bahia Blanca Saturday in the second round of the Americas Rugby Championship. Lautaro Bazan has been summoned from World Rugby Sevens Series duty to bolster the Argentina squad, who are heavy favorites to retain their title in the Six Nations-style event despite fielding a largely second-level squad. Uruguay are coming off a 29-23 loss to the United States in San Antonio. The USA stay in Texas to host Brazil in Austin. Brazil hope to build on a 17-3 victory over Chile in the opening match of the tournament. Canada are back in Langford, British Columbia, where wintry weather is again predicted for their clash with Chile.
