What is Rumble? How can I use it to stream the Republican presidential debate tonight?

While the FOX News network is the exclusive broadcaster of Wednesday's GOP presidential debate, viewers can also livestream the debate on the free, online streaming platform Rumble.

Rumble announced an exclusive streaming partnership with the Republican National Committee for the debate in April.

The streaming platform is known for its popularity among Republicans and also has exclusive deals with Donald Trump's Truth Social platform, Donald Trump Jr. and other conservative personalities.

Work is done to setting up the Rumble booth, service streaming the debate, outside Fiserv Forum in preparation for the August 23 Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee on Monday.

What is Rumble, and what is its connection to the debate?

Rumble is a free, online video-sharing platform similar to but smaller than YouTube. It is headquartered in Toronto and was founded in 2013 by Chris Pavlovski, a Canadian technology entrepreneur. It has a U.S. headquarters in Florida.

Rumble is the RNC's exclusive streaming partner for the first 2024 Republican Presidential Debate, meaning it is the only streaming service on which the debate will air.

Viewers can stream the debate via Rumble on Roku, Samsung, LG, Fire TV, Android, Apple or on any computer, Rumble said Tuesday on Twitter/X.

Is Rumble conservative?

Rumble is known for its popularity among Republican viewers, politicians and media personalities.

A Pew Research Center survey last year found that 20% of American adults had heard of Rumble, and only 2% regularly got news from the platform. Of those who regularly got news from Rumble, 76% identified as Republicans or lean toward the Republican Party.

Rumble's cloud services business hosts Truth Social, former President Trump's social media platform.

Is Rumble free?

Yes. You can stream the debate for free on Rumble here.

How else can I watch the debate?

Viewers can watch the debate broadcast on the Fox News Channel and simulcast on Fox Business Network. It will also be streamed on FOXNews.com and on the streaming service Fox Nation and through Fox News Audio.
