Runners 'Finish' Slain Teacher Eliza Fletcher's Morning Run

People gathered at Charlie Daniels Park in Mt Juliet, Tennessee, early on Friday morning, September 9, for a symbolic run in tribute to Eliza Fletcher, a Memphis schoolteacher who was abducted and killed earlier in the month.

Video shared by the City of Mt Juliet shows a “great crowd” around 4 am Friday at Charlie Daniels Park, gathered to “Finish Liza’s Run.”

Fletcher, 34, was abducted while on an early morning run in Memphis on Friday, September 2.

Her body was found the following Monday, police said.
