Running, walking or driving? All road closures for Flying Pig weekend 2023

A number of roads will be closed around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky during Flying Pig weekend for the variety of events happening, from the marathon to the Flying Fur.

The largest number of roads will be closed Sunday, May 7, for the marathon and half-marathon. The Flying Pig has provided a list of the closures, times and if one or both sides of the road will be affected. Whether you're racing, watching or just happen to live near one of these roads, it could have an impact on your weekend plans.

The following roads will be closed Friday, May 5:

  • Mehring Way, westbound from Elm Street to Joe Nuxhall Way: midnight to 11:59 p.m.

  • Mehring Way, eastbound from Elm Street to Joe Nuxhall Way: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Mehring Way, all sides from Joe Nuxhall Way to Old Broadway: 6:45-8:45 p.m.

  • Old Broadway, southbound from E. Pete Rose Way to Mehring Way: 6:45-8:45 p.m.

  • Roebling Bridge, all sides from Ohio to Kentucky: 6:45-8:45 p.m.
