The 2022-23 women's college basketball season is officially complete, but not without a winter filled with highlights along the way.

Led by former Bishop Kenny guard Jasmyne Roberts in a magical March with Miami, players from the Jacksonville area made an impact on the women's hoops season.

Roberts scored a career-high 26 points to knock out No. 1 seed Villanova, then tallied 22 against eventual national champion LSU during an NCAA Tournament to rank among the most successful for any Jacksonville-area player. The NCAA selected her to the All-Greenville Regional team, alongside the likes of eventual tournament Most Outstanding Player Angel Reese of LSU.

In all, nearly two dozen players from the First Coast appeared on an NCAA Division I women's basketball roster during the season.
