The Rush: Bucks are ballin’, baseball is back and Browns bad boys are reuniting

The Bucks humiliated the Clippers thanks to another incredible performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Orioles 1B Trey Mancini made an emotional return to the game at Spring Training, and Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon are set to reunite on the football field… but not where you’d expect.

- Giannis-- Holiday inside. Great ball rotation-- Middleton. Giannis downhill, slams it home! And the Bucks lead by 3.

JARED QUAY: The Bucks are on a five-game win streak thanks in part to Giannis going beast mode lately. He's scored at least 36 points in his last four games. And against the Clippers on Sunday, a potential Finals match-up, Giannis lit up the stat sheet again. The Clippers were in the driver's seat with four minutes to play. But then they didn't score another point for the rest of the game.

- Doh!

JARED QUAY: Yeah, that ain't good for the Clippers. But there is good news elsewhere in the sports world. Major League Baseball is back, baby.

- Why is that good news?

JARED QUAY: Quit hating, Kyle. Baseball is dope, especially at yesterday's Pirates-Orioles game on the first day of spring training.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Last year Trey Mancini skipped the baseball season to undergo treatment for colon cancer. In his first at-bat, the Orioles first baseman got a standing ovation from everybody, including the Pirates. And then he got a hit. It's good too. A man playing the game he loves with his teammates is the reunion I'm down to see in 2021.

The Cleveland Browns are having a reunion, too-- kind of-- in the Fan Controlled Football League.

- The what?

JARED QUAY: All I know is these teams play seven on seven. And fans have play calling privileges.

- Do you have any idea how insane that sounds?

JARED QUAY: Yeah, sounds like something I need to see. Johnny Manziel joined the FCF back in December, and now he'll be joined by another former NFL bad boy, wide receiver Josh Gordon. If you type in the word suspend on Josh Gordon's Wikipedia page, 22 results pop up. That's a Hall of Fame number right there.

Manziel and Gordon were teammates with the Browns back in 2014. And now they're reunited with the Zappers. What the hell are the Zappers? All right, nobody knows what a Zapper is. But we do know that they're 0 and 2. So suddenly, Flash Gordon kind of makes sense.

Plus I see a great opportunity for prop bets. Who gets suspended first, Gordon or Manziel? Zappers, while you're at it, you should just go on the NFL suspend list and start offering contracts to everybody. I mean, at this rate, y'all can become instead of the Zappers, the Suspended. It's got a better ring to it. I don't know what a Zapper is. I know exactly what a Suspended is.
