JARED QUAY: Golfer Hideki Matsuyama made history yesterday, becoming the first male, Japanese golfer to win a Major. After dropping a 30 on the back nine in day three, he held off Will Zalatoris on day four for a green jacket. It was only his sixth career PGA TOUR win and his first since 2017. Matsuyama will take home a little over $2 million and a very nice jacket you might find on the discount rack at a TJ Maxx. I think I seen that one before. It was only $12. But I ain't want it. I'd never wear it.

- Classy, real classy.

JARED QUAY: Meanwhile, Charlotte's Miles Bridges woke up on Sunday fully intending to take another grown man's life. I mean, he wanted violence. And he did just that against the Hawks yesterday with possibly the dunk of the year over Clint Capela.

- Bridges, oh my goodness!

- Oh! What?

- Hot diddly dee!

JARED QUAY: And you know it's good when they immediately cut to the bench for the reaction. LaMelo Ball is losing his mind. But the guy right next to him was like, holy [BLEEP]. Yo, Clint Capela might need chest compressions. Yo, we need a doctor. We need a doctor. And we need a therapist. From an on-court flex to an off-court flex, Alex Rodriguez is part of a group trying to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Lynx. It seems a little odd that a guy who only likes the finer things in life would want to buy a franchise who has only made the playoffs once since 2004.

I mean, it's not like you could just inject the franchise with steroids and make playoffs. He also unsuccessfully tried to buy the Mets. And you know what they say. If at first you can't buy a crappy franchise, dust yourself off and buy a crappier franchise. Finally, former Titans' star Eddie George is reportedly taking the head coaching job at Tennessee State. TSU closed out its spring season with a loss to Southeast Missouri, 46 to 23. George has been doing pretty much everything but coaching since his retirement, even acted in a Steven Seagal movie.

- You'll be all right.

- [COUGHS]

- You'll be all right.

- We live right. [COUGHS]

And we die right.

- You're not dying, man.

JARED QUAY: It's the second high-profile HBCU coaching hire since Jackson State got Deion back in September. You know what I'm thinking? That's what all greats should do. Like, before you make the Hall of Fame, you should go spend like four years coaching at a HBCU. Like, I want to see Tom Brady go coach at Howard. Better yet, Rob Gronkowski coach at Morehouse. It'd be weird to see him do that.
