- Taurasi off the double heading into the game for Cunningham. Griner gets free and throws it down to Brittney Griner.

JARED QUAY: We should have known from that Brittney Griner dunk that we were in for a treat in game two of the WNBA finals. The sky sent the game into overtime, thanks to Courtney Vandersloot clutch basket at the end of regulation.

- And lays it home.

JARED QUAY: But it was Phoenix's Diana Taurasi a.k.a. the "Goat" in overtime making a couple of huge threes.

- You bet from three, Phoenix back in front.

JARED QUAY: And Skylar Diggins-Smith dagger to seal the win for the Mercury.

- And the leap, what a breakdown from Skylar Diggins-Smith!

JARED QUAY: By the way, Game 2 of the WNBA was sold out. And people are having a hard time buying tickets for Game 3 because that game sold out too. Moral of the story is the series is tied at 1-1. So there will be a Game 4, you better get your tickets early before these NBA guys keep buying them up. Switching over to the WNBA's counterpart, Kyrie Irving is out of a lot of pocket change. He ain't playing in games this season unless he gets vaccinated. Our New York lifts COVID mandates.

- We know.

JARED QUAY: I know you know, but the Nets have decided not to offer Kyrie the extension he's due which is worth around $186 million.

- That's a lot of money.

JARED QUAY: Damn, Kyrie. I understand you want to stand up for something, but this ain't it bro and it's costing you a pretty penny. Actually, multiple pretty penny. It's a bunch of pretty, pretty stacked on top of each other that you ain't going to get. We're going to leave you with one of the most lopsided scorers in NBA history. Yes, I know it's only preseason but the Mavericks beat down the Hornets, 127-59 - that's a 68 point margin of victory.

- Holy shit.

JARED QUAY: I know. I mean, these guys are supposed to be pros. But again, it's only preseason, but at what point do you attack the mercy rule? I mean, the Mavs are up by 70 at one point. I say that's the same time to call the game. Game over, baby let's go home shake hands. The only thing you're playing with right now is my moral compass. Should I keep my starters in or not?
