JORDAN DAVIS: Obviously, it hasn't been easy. Lots of trials and tribulations. But at the end of the day, I'm here. It's literally-- the draft is tonight. So like, literally, it's going to be an amazing feeling to walk across that stage, shake the commissioner's hand, and wear that hat. This is what dreams are made of.
JARED QUAY: What's up, everybody? I'm here with soon-to-be NFL draft pick for some team and defensive tackle out of Georgia, Jordan Davis. How are you doing today, Jordan?
JORDAN DAVIS: I'm good, man. How are you?
JARED QUAY: I'm good, man. But like, honest with me, all right? Out of a scale of 1 to 10, how much butterflies do you have in your stomach right now?
JORDAN DAVIS: [CHUCKLES] 10, man. 10. I try not to let it get to me. I'm trying to keep it grounded. I'm trying to be, you know, mentally ready and just woosah and relax. But you can't help it. It's a lot of anxiety going into it. But you know, at the end of the day, you're going to be in great hands, so--
- Woosah.
JARED QUAY: I mean, I know it's not in the mock draft. But you know, are you still keeping out hope that the Jaguars take you first overall?
JORDAN DAVIS: [LAUGHS] Look, man, I'm gonna leave that to Trevon, man. Hopefully they get my dog Trevon up there in Jacksonville, man.
JARED QUAY: You made history at the combine running one of the fastest 40 times ever for somebody of your size.
- Somebody pushing 340 run a 4.82.
- That is a ridiculous time for somebody that big.
JARED QUAY: Who are you looking forward to sacking with that kind of speed and size in the NFL?
JORDAN DAVIS: Tom Brady, man. I feel like to be able to do that on the GOAT, man-- he's the GOAT. Like him or hate him, you got to respect him. And he's been in the league since I've been probably born. He's been in the league how many years? 22?
JARED QUAY: Yeah. [LAUGHS]
JORDAN DAVIS: And I'm 22. So literally, like, he's been in the league since forever. So to be able to do that and to say that-- and hopefully he doesn't retire beforehand. But you know, if I get a chance to get to him, I'll be like, thank you so much for letting me sack you. And he'd probably be like, what is this guy talking about? But regardless, man, that's one of the-- that'll be a highlight of my life.
JARED QUAY: I mean, with your size and speed, man, his age, man, you might be getting arrested for elder abuse, man. [LAUGHS]
JORDAN DAVIS: Hey, look. Look, man. Hey, look, that's a risk you're willing to take when you come in and put the pads on. But at the end of the day, man, you know he's more than capable. He's still got it. You know, he never lost his groove. So that's one of the hot spots right there.

JARED QUAY: I know the red carpet's going on later. But I want to know any spoilers, man. What's the drip looking like? What's the outfit looking like?
JORDAN DAVIS: Why does everybody want spoilers, man? Everybody trying to get, like, you know, a little inside information. Come on, now. Look, it's a tuxedo. It's a tuxedo. But it's also paying respect to my home in Athens. So [INAUDIBLE] red and black theme, and that's all I'm going to give you. So you keep that, and you put that in your pocket right here.
JARED QUAY: All right. You're not going to show the abs like Ezekiel Elliott? You're not going to [INAUDIBLE]
JORDAN DAVIS: Look, I don't have abs like Ezekiel Elliott. Look, I got-- look, I'm working on it, OK?
JARED QUAY: And I know your hair going to be looking fresh, 'cause you're collaborating with Head & Shoulders, right?
JORDAN DAVIS: I'm telling you, you see it right there?
JARED QUAY: [LAUGHS]
JORDAN DAVIS: You see it. Look, man--
JARED QUAY: Can you tell me--
JORDAN DAVIS: --Head & Shoulders been getting me right, man. They gave me a swag bag. You know, I wash my hair in it. So you know, they're going to get me right.
JARED QUAY: You're going to be there tonight, not only just yourself. You're going to be with your mom, Shay Allen. What do you think it's going to mean for her?
JORDAN DAVIS: [CHUCKLES] See, my ma-- she like to play it cool, but she's going to crack. I feel like she's going to crack tonight. She's probably going to cry and little tears in her eyes. And she's going to mess up her little makeup and everything.
But you know, that's what I do it for-- you know, those moments like that. My biggest accomplishment in life is making my mom proud. So anything that I can do, anything that I can help, whether that's with my brothers, being a great big brother, being a great football player, being a great son, a great friend, you know, I want to do that to the best of ability, because at the end of the day, when the game-- and I retire, and I hang the cleats up, I just want to be remembered as a great person.
JARED QUAY: Make your mama proud. Look, Tom Brady, I got to sack you, 'cause my mama's watching right now.
JORDAN DAVIS: Right, right, right.

JARED QUAY: This is my last question and my favorite question, all right, man? According to Google, you were neck and neck with the most popular name of Jordan Davis with country singer Jordan Davis. And so I want to know, how are we going to help you get to the number-one spot of being the most popular Jordan Davis?
JORDAN DAVIS: One day, when I really take music seriously, we're going to put out a country song-- me and Jordan Davis. So you know, it's really up to him. The ball's in his court.
JARED QUAY: Yo, Jordan Davis, if you're watching-- the other Jordan Davis-- I can't wait for that future collaboration, man. I'm going to be in the background of the video dancing.

And I'm like, [LAUGHS] literally, I don't know if you, like, forgot to check the profile picture or something. Like, how can you confuse the two? But it's crazy. It's hilarious.
