The Los Angeles Rams had total control over the Arizona Cardinals during their 34-11 win on Wild Card Monday, the Las Vegas Raiders relieved Mike Mayock of general manager duties, and tennis World No.1 Novak Djokovic may not be able to play in the French Open because of his vaccination status… or lack thereof. Plus, maybe HBO should recast Peacemaker with Grizzlies center Steven Adams after his brawl-saving intervention in Memphis’ win over the Bulls.

Video Transcript

- Rams pressure is picked up. Kyler, did he get rid of it? It's intercepted. It's David Long into the end zone for the touchdown.

JARED QUAY: Between Kyler Murray and Matthew Stafford, somebody was getting their first playoff win. It turns out the guy who's been playing for 13 seasons finally got his.

- He lofted one for Odell Beckham Jr. He got it down. Touchdown.

JARED QUAY: This game was all Rams. You know things aren't going great for the opposition when Odell Beckham is out here throwing bombs like this.

- Here's Odell Beckham Jr. He wants to throw it. He got a man down the sideline. It's Cam Akers.

JARED QUAY: The Los Angeles Rams will move on to face the dreaded Buccaneers in Tampa.

TOM BRADY: Be ready to go next Sunday at 3 o'clock. Here we go, playoff football. Let's go.

JARED QUAY: But somebody's got to wipe that smirk off Brady. But why not the Rams? The Raiders lost to the Bengals in the wild card round of the playoffs in what was one roller coaster of a season.

- Wee.

JARED QUAY: But their season is over, and spring cleaning has officially begun as GM Mike Mayock was relieved of his duties.

- Get him out of here.

JARED QUAY: Mayock was general manager for three seasons, all with Jon Gruden as head coach until he retired in October thanks to a leaked email debacle with the Washington Football Team.

- Oh, yeah.

JARED QUAY: It makes sense. You got to think about a change at GM if you're going to lose to a team that hasn't won a playoff game in 31 years. You guys broke a curse.

- The curse is lifted.

JARED QUAY: Can you be the GOAT if you don't do everything possible to win? That's what I'm asking myself as Novak Djokovic keeps getting dunked on. Tennis' world ranked number one man lost his unvaccinated battle to play in the Australian Open. Now, he might face a similar crisis in May for the French Open. The French parliament approved a new law requiring COVID vaccinations for anyone at sports arenas, restaurants, and other venues. And the French Sports Ministry said there will be no exceptions-- not if you're the GOAT, not if you're an alien. If you aren't vaccinated, you ain't getting in.

- Now, go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

JARED QUAY: Obviously, they were looking directly at Mr. Djokovic, figuratively speaking when they made that statement.

- I'm just looking at you, kid.

JARED QUAY: And I apologize for the pun, but it seems like the ball's in Joker's court. Grizzlies' center Steven Adams prevented World War III during Memphis's win over the Bulls on Monday.

- They foul Morant. They get tied up. And now, they're getting into it on the floor.

- Steven Adams is literally lifting up Tony Bradley, who is not a small guy. He literally just lifted him up.

JARED QUAY: OK, maybe he didn't quite prevent World War III.

- It's still scary.

JARED QUAY: But he did help diffuse the situation by picking up 6'10'', 248-pound Tony Bradley and carrying him away from the altercation with Ja Morant like he was a sack of potatoes.

- I lift things up and put them down.

JARED QUAY: I know HBO got John Cena playing Peacemaker, but maybe they should recast the role with Steven Adams. I mean, people always say he looks like Jason Momoa. Maybe he can act like Jason Momoa too. Actually, he might need to be better than Jason Momoa. Jason Momoa has the look, but I don't know if his movies ever say Oscar-worthy, right? You've never seen Jason Momoa like, yo, he's playing that role like an Oscar.
