Jan. 22—Head coach Craig Russell became the Plymouth State University men's ice hockey program's all-time wins leader Saturday night as the Panthers defeated Framingham State University, 6-1.

Plymouth State scored in the opening minute and poured it on to record its 10th straight win.

Now in his 13th season at Plymouth State, Russell owns a career record of 209-86-28 (.690) to become the program's winningest coach, surpassing Dave Webster (208-173-16), who led the program for a 20-year stint from 1976-96.

Fourteenth-ranked Plymouth State improved to 14-3-1 and is 11-0-0 in MASCAC play.
