Details: Over 30 combat clashes took place over the past day. Russian forces launched 44 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of the Ukrainian forces and on civilian facilities.

Russian forces also attacked Ukraine with 33 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 26 of them. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, over 100 private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed or damaged.

About 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts came under Russian artillery fire.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians continue to maintain a group of troops and conduct active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to fronts under threat.

In the area which falls under the responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group on the Bakhmut front, Ukraine’s Defence Forces have gained some success near Klishchiivka in Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian forces are pushing the Russians out from their occupied positions and consolidating their positions, fierce battles continue. In addition, the Russian occupiers unsuccessfully tried to break through the defence of Ukraine’s Armed Forces near the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In the area which falls under the responsibility of the Tavriia operational-strategic group of troops on the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk fronts, Ukraine’s Defence Forces are holding the initiative, detering Russian forces, conducting assault operations and recapturing Ukrainian land metre by metre. For example, Ukraine’s defenders are successfully holding the defence near the settlements of Keramik, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Marinka and Rivnopil in Donetsk Oblast, where during the day the Russians made about 20 unsuccessful attempts to push Ukrainian units out from their positions. All Russian attacks resulted in significant losses in manpower and equipment for Russia.

On the Melitopol front, Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue their offensive, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on Russian forces, and consolidating their positions.

On the Kherson front, Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to conduct counter-battery measures, destroying ammunition storage points and successfully striking at the Russians’ rear.

Due to the catastrophic Russian losses, it is expected that large-scale forced mobilisation will begin in Russia and in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine in the near future. Various estimates suggest that the number of conscriptions may be as many as 400,000 to 700,000. There are also plans to call up about 40,000 residents of the Chechen Republic, who will probably be used as barrier units behind the Russian troops. At the same time, the figures for the planned mobilisation from among the population of Moscow and St. Petersburg again remain minimal. Ordinary citizens, residents of Russian oblasts, will once again be sent to the front as "cannon fodder", driven to their deaths by Kadyrov's executioners. Therefore, almost the only way for the Russian military to survive is to voluntarily surrender to Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

Over the course of the day, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 11 attacks on the areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

Ukraine’s Rocket and Artillery Forces struck eight artillery pieces belonging to the Russians.
