Russia Delivers Emergency Medical Equipment to Italy

Russian military aircraft carrying medical equipment and soldiers landed in Italy on March 22 and 23 to assist local authorities in responding to the coronavirus.

According to Italian media, the soldiers were trained in “bacteriological warfare.” Graphics on the Russian vehicles that arrived in Italy read: ‘From Russia With Love.’

Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said on March 22: “We will not stop until our citizens are safe. We will prove to be stronger than this virus too. Let us always remember: we are not alone.”
