Even these figures are preliminary estimates, said Zelenskyy, as many Ukrainians are kept without IDs or means of communication, coerced into remaining in Russia.

The president added that Moscow has set up a series of so-called “filtration camps” across occupied Ukrainian lands.
“Tens of thousands of people remain there, while many young women vanish without a trace,” said Zelenskyy.
G7 leaders called on Russia to return deported Ukrainians home, during the recent summit meeting on June 27.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has instructed his officials to relocate nearly 100,000 Ukrainians to far-flung and sparsely populated Russian regions, according to an earlier report by The Independent.
