Russia destroys 35 oil depots in Ukraine since full-scale invasion
“Some 35 oil depots were destroyed, material damage to the environment amounted to UAH 33.09 billion ($904.9 million),” the agency told Interfax-Ukraine in a comment.

The ministry said the damage mainly concerns emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere and soil pollution.
Three Iranian-supplied Shahed flying bombs, rebranded as Russian Geran-2 drones, attacked an oil depot in Kirovohrad Oblast on May 3, Kirovohrad regional governor Andriy Raikovych said.
In addition, Serhiy Kuyun, head of energy consultancy A-95, previously said that the oil product supply industry remains a target for the enemy and, despite the lack of official information, hits and losses of thousands of tons of fuel take place every month.

Almost a year ago, on May 5, 2022, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, Andriy Gerus, said the Russian invaders had destroyed or damaged 15 oil depots in Ukraine.
